The street requires us to be alert and highly tuned to the ebb and flow of the environment. The hustle and bustle of the high street for example, gives you little time to dally about and get all the contrived images you want. Yes, it’s more about off the cuff photos and taking the opportunity as it arises, rather than creating the ideal setting at a slow and deliberate pace. In that sense, it’s a good idea to adjust all your settings before you head out in preparation for what you mission might be, whether that’s snapping people, wildlife, or architecture.
